PRINCE2® Training in Omagh

Foundation and Practitioner PRINCE2 7 Qualifications in Omagh

A PRINCE2 qualification doesn’t belong to one employer or one sector. It’s a portable, internationally recognised credential that demonstrates you can manage projects with structure and accountability, regardless of the environment you’re working in. For professionals in Omagh weighing up their development options, that transferability is one of PRINCE2’s most compelling qualities.

Elite Training has been delivering PRINCE2 training across Northern Ireland for over 30 years. As an Authorised Training Organisation for PeopleCert, every qualification earned through us is fully accredited and every course is taught by project managers with genuine field experience. The pass rates reflect that: 100% at Foundation level year to date and between 85% and 90% at Practitioner, against a national average of 77%.

PRINCE2 Courses Available to Participants from Omagh

PRINCE2 Foundation (3 days | £995 + VAT)

Foundation is the entry point into PRINCE2 certification and covers the complete methodology across three full days. Delegates work through the core principles, the seven practices and the project processes, building a thorough understanding of how PRINCE2 operates from project initiation through to close. The Foundation exam tests all of these areas, so the course is designed to prepare you comprehensively rather than selectively.

Passing Foundation gives you a recognised qualification that is valid for three years. Renewal options include retaking the exam, advancing to Practitioner level or maintaining accreditation through PeopleCert’s CPD programme.

PRINCE2 Practitioner (2 days | £1,020 + VAT)

Practitioner is where the focus shifts from understanding the methodology to deploying it. Over two intensive days, delegates develop the ability to adapt and tailor PRINCE2 within real project contexts, which is precisely what the Practitioner exam assesses. It’s a more demanding level than Foundation, but with proper preparation and experienced tuition, it’s very achievable.

Eligibility requires a qualifying certification, including PRINCE2 Foundation (2009 or higher), PMP, CAPM or any IPMA level. Practitioner certification is valid for three years and can be renewed by retaking the exam, pursuing another PeopleCert accreditation or subscribing to PeopleCert’s annual CPD programme.

PRINCE2 Foundation & Practitioner Combined (5 days | £1,995 + VAT)

The combined programme is the most efficient route to full PRINCE2 certification. Foundation runs across the first three days, with Practitioner following the week after. Both exams are included in the single course fee and are sat at the end of their respective modules.

For delegates travelling from Omagh, completing both levels in one structured block removes the need to make the journey on multiple separate occasions. If you do opt to take the levels independently, we recommend sitting Practitioner within six months of completing Foundation.

Travelling from Omagh

Public courses are held in Belfast. Omagh is approximately an hour and a half by road, so multi-day courses do involve a commute worth planning for. For organisations in Omagh with a group of staff to train, a closed course delivered at your own premises is a practical alternative that removes travel entirely. Group discounts are also available for five or more delegates attending the same public course dates.

All course fees include the relevant exam and official course materials. There are no additional costs.

* The above courses all take place from 09:00-17:00.

FAQs – PRINCE2 in Omagh

Can the training be delivered in Omagh rather than Belfast?

Yes. We regularly arrange closed courses at client premises across Northern Ireland. If you have a team in Omagh who need PRINCE2 training, get in touch and we’ll put a proposal together based on your requirements.

Do I need any prior qualifications to start PRINCE2?

No prior qualifications are needed for the Foundation course. Practitioner does require an existing qualifying certification, the most common of which is PRINCE2 Foundation.

Is the exam included in the course price?

Yes, always. Every PRINCE2 course we deliver includes the relevant exam fee and all official course materials.

How soon after the course can I sit the exam?

Exams are sat as part of the course itself, so there’s no waiting around once you’ve completed your training days.

Which industries is PRINCE2 most relevant to?

PRINCE2 is used across construction, IT, finance, healthcare, central and local government, and many other sectors. Its scalability means it works for projects of almost any size or type, which is a large part of why it’s remained the most widely used project management qualification in the world.

“Kathleen thanks very much for all your help, support and guidance this past week. Delivering training virtually is often hard to keep attention and deliver a message, but you managed to make it very engaging and informative.”

“I would like to thank Margaret Short (Course Tutor, Elite Training, Belfast) for her time, effort and commitment to getting my colleagues and me through the PRINCE2 Foundation & Practitioner course materials and exams. I have been involved in training and development for the last 20 years and believe these courses, in terms of structure, contents and delivery, are of a very high standard and I would encourage people that are involved in project management, regardless of the size, scale or scope, to take the course.”
