PRINCE2 7 TRAINING

At Elite Training we offer a range of PRINCE2 project management courses in Belfast, Northern Ireland. These recognised qualifications in managing projects taught by experienced professionals cover the PRINCE2 methodology in detail. Our various PRINCE2 courses cater to various needs. The 3-day PRINCE2 Foundation covers PRINCE2 terminology (including the key elements of principles, practices and processes) to prepare you for the Foundation exam, whereas the 2-day PRINCE2 Practitioner course is for those who have already passed the Foundation exam and prepares you to apply the methodology in the workplace and pass the Practitioner exam. If you want to cover both Foundation and Practitioner levels, we offer a combined 5-day course with exams. 

The Foundation and Practitioner accreditations require renewal every 3 years. Individuals holding only the Foundation accreditation can either retake the Foundation exam or advance to the Practitioner level, which automatically includes Foundation accreditation. Those with Practitioner accreditation have 3 options: they can register with Axelos and maintain an annual CPD, retake the Practitioner exam after 3 years, or pursue a different PeopleCert accreditation, which will automatically renew their PRINCE2 Practitioner status after 3 years.

PROGRAMME MANAGEMENT

Our 2-day Programme Management course equips participants with the skills to oversee and lead change programmes which will contribute to an organisation’s strategic goals. The course covers various aspects of programme management, including defining the vision, engaging stakeholders, crafting a business case, and creating a programme plan. It also delves into the roles of key personnel such as the Senior Responsible Officer and Programme Manager. By completion of the course, participants will be equipped to implement, manage risk, and evaluate change programmes within their workplace.

PROGRAMME & PROJECT GOVERNANCE

This one-day workshop is designed for Project Board members. It clarifies their roles and responsibilities, including those of the Senior Responsible Owner (SRO). Participants will gain a comprehensive understanding of Programme & Project Governance (P3M) and the recommended governance mechanisms. Through a practical case study, participants will explore how to implement these mechanisms effectively and return to the workplace with an improved understanding of how to utilise this within the workplace.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT  

Our Project Management course provides the knowledge and skills needed to effectively manage projects within the workplace. The course covers the entire project lifecycle, from defining a project and assigning roles to managing resources, costs, and risks. Participants will also learn to handle changes, ensure quality, and evaluate project success. This intensive course is designed to be completed in 1 or 2 days depending on your specific needs.
