Your Route to PRINCE2 Certification

There are three ways to achieve your PRINCE2 qualification, and the right one depends on where you’re starting from.

PRINCE2 Foundation (3 days | £995 + VAT)

Foundation is the entry point into PRINCE2 and the natural starting place for anyone new to the methodology. The three-day course covers the full framework in detail, working through the core principles, the seven practices and the project processes from initiation through to close. Every element of the course is geared towards preparing you for the Foundation exam, which tests knowledge across all of these areas.

Our pass rate currently sits at 100% year to date, which reflects both the quality of our tutors and the hands-on way they deliver the material. Foundation certification is valid for three years and can be renewed through several options, including progressing to Practitioner level or maintaining CPD through PeopleCert.

PRINCE2 Practitioner (2 days | £1,020 + VAT)

Where Foundation is about understanding PRINCE2, Practitioner is about using it. The two-day course builds directly on what you learned at Foundation level, shifting the focus to how the methodology is applied and tailored within real project environments. The Practitioner exam reflects this, testing your ability to work with the framework rather than simply recall it.

To enrol, you’ll need a qualifying certification already in place. Accepted qualifications include PRINCE2 Foundation (2009 or higher), PMP, CAPM or any level of IPMA qualification. Our Practitioner pass rate is between 85% and 90%, which compares favourably to the national average of 77%.

Practitioner certification is valid for three years. Renewal options include retaking the Practitioner exam, completing an alternative PeopleCert accreditation or subscribing to PeopleCert’s annual CPD programme.

PRINCE2 Foundation & Practitioner Combined (5 days | £1,995 + VAT)

The combined programme is the most popular choice for delegates who want to achieve both certifications in one structured block. Foundation runs across the first three days, followed by two days of Practitioner training the following week. Both exams are included and are sat at the end of their respective modules.

It’s a particularly efficient route for professionals who want to avoid a long gap between the two levels. If you do choose to take Foundation and Practitioner separately rather than as a combined programme, we’d recommend completing your Practitioner training within six months of finishing Foundation.

Travelling from Newry

Our public PRINCE2 courses are delivered in person in Belfast. Newry is well connected by both road and rail, making the journey to Belfast a manageable one for most delegates. Courses run from 9am to 5pm each day.
