Minutes act as a public record of what was discussed and agreed at a meeting. The skill of minute-taking, from layout to discussion summaries, is incredibly important.

This course provides delegates with clear guidance on appropriate layout & writing styles to develop their skills as a minute-taker.

Course Content

  • Role of minute-taker before, during & after a meeting;
  • Types of minutes;
  • Agendas’ relationship to minutes;
  • Structure & layout;
  • Appropriate writing styles;
  • Practical minute-taking exercises.

NB: Short-hand is not included in this session.
