ILM Level 5

Course Description

Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM)

The Institute of Leadership & Management (ILM) is an internationally recognised management-awarding body. ILM qualifications are aligned with the UK’s Qualifications & Credit Framework (QCF) and accredited by the Office of Qualifications & Examinations Regulation (Ofqual).

Levels of Certification

ILM qualifications range from Level 2 to 7. Elite Training delivers Levels 2, 3 & 5.

Accreditation Format

Organisations choose from a list of modules to make up the necessary accreditation (i.e. Level 2, 3 or 5). Once completed, delegates are awarded a Unit Certification for the Level obtained. Extra modules are available for delegates wishing to increase the number of Credit Values (CVs) they obtain (more modules = more CVs). Once the additional modules are completed, delegates obtain a Full Award, Certificate of Diploma, for that level.

Therefore, in each level, delegates can achieve:

  • Unit accreditation;
  • Award accreditation;
  • Certification Accreditation;
  • Diploma Accreditation. (NB: Diploma level not offered by Elite Training.)

Duration: 4 days minimum, depending on modules selected.

Programme Content

Delegates must obtain 6 credits minimum (2-3 modules) to achieve the Level 5 Award in Leadership & Management. The course content prepares delegates for the necessary assignments (see module options below).
